Ticket scanning
An installable scanner for any phone or tablet. Download the event before doors, scan all night with no connection at all, and sync the moment the signal comes back.

Adult · Weekend pass · Gate B
Every result, in words
Each outcome has its own colour, its own label and its own vibration, so a volunteer at a dark gate knows in a glance and a buzz. Here is the full set.
Before doors
Devices are registered and approved, so a stolen phone can be cut off remotely and a stranger can’t open a scanner on your event. The whole sequence is designed to be done by a volunteer in the car park.
The scanner installs from a link — no app store, no account. Works on iPhone and Android, phone or tablet.
The phone gets a name (“Main gate 2”) and asks to join your organisation.
One tap in the dashboard. Approval can be pulled at any time, from anywhere.
Choose the fixture or festival day and the gate this device is standing at. Zone rules follow automatically.
The event data is encrypted on the device with a version stamp. Scan online or offline — it’s the same button.
Offline, honestly
Each QR code carries a signed credential the scanner can verify locally, against the event data it downloaded. No round-trip to a server means no waiting and no spinner — online or off.
For door managers
Checked in, remaining, and arrivals per ten minutes. Move a volunteer before the queue forms.
One tap and that phone can’t scan or see anything. Its local data is wiped on next contact.
Scanned the wrong ticket? Reverse it with permission. Every reversal and override is audited.
A printable list of codes and names, generated before doors, for the night everything else fails.
Operators see only what they need
Scanner operators get ticket validity, ticket type and — only where the organiser requires names — the attendee name. No emails, no payment details, no order history.
Scanning questions
No. The scanner is an installable web app: open a link, add it to the home screen and it behaves like an app — including offline. It works on iPhone and Android.
The first scan admits, the second shows Already used with the time and gate of the first. If the ticket has been transferred, the old code shows Transferred and doesn’t admit at all.
Phones and tablets are what most clubs and festivals have to hand, so the scanner is built for their cameras first. Manual code entry works with any keyboard-style scanner too.
The downloaded dataset is designed for large festivals — tens of thousands of tickets — while keeping scans instant. Sync at opening time is part of our load testing before any high-demand event.

The scanner comes with every event. No extra hardware, no extra fee.
